How to create a single-night surcharge
In order to charge an additional fee when a guest stays for only one night, you can set up a single-night surcharge.
In order to charge an additional fee when a guest stays for only one night to offset the fixed costs associated with cleaning and preparing the accommodation and encourage guests to book for longer durations, you can set up a single-night surcharge.
1. Go to Settings [the cogwheel gear icon ⚙] > Stock configurations > Minimum stays
2. Go to the required stock unit by clicking on it
3. Set up a minimum stay period and choose "Yes" to "Allow single-night stays"
- either a fixed $$ amount
- or a percentage added on top of the rate
5. Click Save minimum stays
When guests try and make a booking for a single night during a period for which a minimum stay is set up they will have to agree to pay the surcharge in order to proceed with booking.
