NAME/DESCRIPTION Tab:
The NAME/DESCRIPTION Tab includes most of the governing settings for Stock Unit Setup.

Stock Unit Name Note: it is not recommended to add any special characters in the stock unit name as they are sometimes incorrectly rendered on emails an/or cause URLs to break |
| Description | Formatted content that will display on the Web Booking Calendar and Guest Booking Forms (Accessed from your Website) |
| Email Content | Formatted content that can be displayed in email correspondence. |
| Room Code | Optional Room code |
| Key Lock Box Location | Property Management Setting: listing details of a Lock Box location and details. |
| GL Code | GL Code for Accounting packages that are linked to ResBook (Xero, MYOB online) |
| Tax Applies | Will tax Apply to rates on this Stock unit. |
| Instant Confirmation | Allow bookings to come in as instantly "Confirmed" or as "New Request" based on Payment Policy Settings. |
| Management Fee | Property Management Setting: Set management fee to a fixed monthly amount or percentage-based setting. |
| Tax applies on management fee | Property Management Setting: Allow Tax to apply to Management Fees on this Stock Unit. |
| Tax code on management fee | Property Management Setting: Select which Tax code will apply to Management Fees on this Stock unit. |
| Owner Payment Terms | Property Management Setting: Allowance to specify Owner Payment terms in days from end of month. |
| Status | Stock Unit to be Active or Inactive. For Stock Units to be displayed in ResBook Calendars, they must be activated. |
| Hidden | Ability to hide room from agents or guests. The effects of this are reflected on the Guest Booking Calendar (Website Booking Calendar) for Guests and Agents. If the Stock unit is active, it will still display on your ResBook Calendar. |
| Display on Invoices | Will ensure Stock Unit will end up on invoices to Guests and Agents. |
| CC Email Address (Notifications and Guest Emails) | Carbon Copy the entered email address's email correspondence for this Stock Unit. Option to have Notifications and/or Guest Emails. |
| BCC Email Address (Notifications and Guest Emails) | Blind Carbon Copy the entered email address's email correspondence for this Stock Unit |
| Override System Checkin/out | ResBook users can now set check-in/out per stock unit. Once you save the page, that particular stock unit will now use the new times you set up. |
| Allow Children | Allow the hiding of children from the booking forms |
TYPE Tab:
Select Type if you need to assign the stock unit to the Classification. Click on the Classification drop-down box and assign this stock unit to the Classification.
BEDS Tab:
Select Beds to specify Maximum occupancy of the stock unit and to assign bed configuration.
