How to Add a Cleaner User in ResBook Contacts

For the 'Housekeeping' module. Cleaners must be created as a contact before they can be assigned to ResBook.

To add a 'Cleaner' as a contact follow the steps outlined below: 

Step 1: Use the navigation menu across the top of the ResBook site and select [Contacts]. Then select [Create].


Step 2: Select [Cleaners] as the Contact Type at the top of the page.

Step 3: Select the company the cleaner belongs to. 
Step 4: Enter the following details. All fields marked with * are compulsory. 
Step 5: If you have the Mailchimp module added to your system,  you must select the list options.

Step 6: Create a Username and Password for the cleaner.

Step 7: Assign the Housekeeping module (you can also select their admin rights by selecting the arrow on the right).

Step 8: Assign inventory for the cleaner to see the House Keeping calendar and schedules.

Step 9: An image of the cleaner can also be uploaded if required, click [Choose Files] and locate the image on your computer.


Step 10: Once all fields are filled in, click [Create Contact].

The details will then be saved and displayed.

Please note:
  • The Cleaners login should be used together with the Housekeeping module.
  • If you are not subscribed to the Housekeeping module, you will need to add the Calendar, Bookings, and Settings module to the Cleaners contact in Step 7 above, which will allow the Cleaners to view all booking information.
