E-mail Tags

Tags Purpose and Function

Guest First name

First name supplied in the Booking form (manual entry/online bookings).

Guest Last name

Last name supplied in the Booking form (manual entry/online bookings).

Booking Summary

Reservation ID

Booking Name and Guest Name
Arrival and Departure dates incl. Number of Nights

Guests: Adults/Children Booked

Rate per night

Total Accommodation Price

Arrival Date

Date of when the customer arrives.

Nights Booked

Number of nights that guests' are staying for.

Rate per Night

Average breakdown of accommodation total by night.

Total Booking amount

Rate multiplied by number of nights = Total booking amount.

Service Summary

Only applies when ResBook is set up with Services bookable on the website booking form.

Payment Policy

Same as the Booking and Payment Policy found on your Booking calendar.

Cancellation Policy

Same as the Cancellation Policy found on your Booking calendar.

Property Signature

System Settings > Address and Contact – anything filled in the property signature field will be shown.

Property Name

Property name will be retrieved from: Settings > System Settings > Address and Contact.

Property Address

Address will be retrieved from: Settings > System Settings > Address and Contact.

Property Postal Address

Postal Address will be retrieved from: Settings > System Settings > Address and Contact.

Property Email

E-mail will be retrieved from: Settings > System Settings > Address and Contact.

Office Phone

Office Phone will be retrieved from: Settings > System Settings > Address and Contact.

Date

The date of today will be displayed.

Booking Number

Reservation/Booking ID.

Comments to Guest

Any written comments in the booking of Resbook are displayed.

Reservation Expires

Pertaining to pending confirmation e-mails, the date whereby reservation expires is displayed.

Moving Details

When a different room is assigned to the date for a booking.

Amendment Details

Details of Rates, adults/children, or booking dates are displayed.

Confirmation Link

A secured link sent to customers to enter their credit card details and confirm the booking.

Cancellation Reason

As soon as you cancel the booking, the cancellation reason will display.

Payment Request Link

Requesting a payment from the customer (only for ResPay users).

Paid Amount

Provides a payment summary of all the payments against a booking. Also includes Credit Card Surcharge if applies. 

Name on Bank statement

Merchant name that appears in an e-mail when a card is charged (only for ResPay users).

Review Link

The Availability website review link.

Change credit card link (Authorise Credit Card Link)

Secured link is sent out to clients to enter in a different set of credit card details in place of the first set.

Balance due

The amount of money still owing on a booking.
